Willie Maude (Billie) Ray Lowie

May 22, 1926 — January 13, 2006

Billie Lowie, 79, passed away at home on Friday, January 13, 2006 of a long time illness. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.

Mrs. Lowie was born in Helena, native daughter of Georgia. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Her husband, Thomas Lowie and parents, William Morris Ray and Martha (Evelyn) Wooten Ray Collins, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Leon Mitchell Pinnell (Toni), Dry Branch; Vicki Pinnell Dutcher (Bobby), Atlanta; step-children, Terry Lowie, Courtland, Illinois; Marlene Sample, Glenwood, Arkansas; Rena Temple, Jackson, Florida; brothers and sisters, Gene Ray, Brunswick; James Oris Ray, McRae; Kenneth Ray, Jackson, Florida; Myrtle Ray Harbin, Warner Robins; Betty Ray Smith, McRae, and twelve grandchildren.
