Willis Rountree

Willis Rountree, 84, entered into rest on the afternoon of Saturday, June 4, 2016.

Born in Pitts, Georgia on September 7, 1931, Willis was a son of the late Ernest and Mae Wright Rountree. He retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base, and loved fishing and gardening.

In addition to his parents, Willis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marlene S. Rountree in 2001.

He leaves his memory behind with his loving sons, Steven Rountree of Pulaski County and Todd Rountree (Lee) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Steven Rountree II, and Ryan and Dillon Rountree; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Jordan, and Remington Rountree; one sister, Patsy; and one brother, Robert.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 7th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8th in Seville Cemetery on Old Seville Road in Wilcox County where he will be laid to rest.
