Wilma Mae Wortman

June 2, 1923 — August 2, 2018

Wilma Wortman joined her beloved husband, John R. Wortman in heaven on the morning of Thursday, August 2, 2018. She was 95 years old.

Wilma was born in Confluence, Pennsylvania on June 2, 1923 to the late Henry and Mildred White Bahr. After marrying at a young age, she devoted her life to loving her husband, raising her children, doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and faithfully serving the Lord. Westminster Presbyterian Church in Warner Robins was her church home where she served as a church elder.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Alice Filimek.

Mrs. Wortman’s memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Jan Mohler (John) of Warner Robins and Charles Wortman (Jean) of Tennessee; grandchildren, Kathy Rogers (Bryan), John Mohler, Jr. (Stacey), Elizabeth Gaddis (Don), Heather Mohler, and Christopher Lively; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Westminster Presbyterian Church with Rev. Lucie Perkins officiating. Mrs. Wortman will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Mrs. Wortman to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 303 Mary Ln., Warner Robins, GA 31088.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Wortman’s arrangements.
