Wilma Marcine Magerkurth

Wilma Marcine Magerkurth, 90, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 10, 2014.

Wilma was born on February 23, 1924 in Keokuk, Iowa to the late William H. and Justine Verburg Hornung. She retired from Graham Hospital after dedicating several years as a Nurse Aid. Wilma was an inspiration to her family and friends and will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Newell C. Magerkurth; daughter, Sharon Thompson; brother, Robert Hornung; and sister, Leona Manley.

Wilma's memory will forever be treasured by her loving son, Tom Magerkurth (Lita) of Bonaire; grandchildren, David Magerkurth (Cheryl) of Kathleen, Donna McKinley (Mike) of Bonaire, Teresa Bishop (Kenny) of Loganville, Georgia, Bill Mann (Angela) of Macon, Shelly McGinty of Houston, Texas, Jana Swanson (Dave) of Warner Robins and Chris Mann of Centerville; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Janet Cunningham and Donn Hornung, both of Keokuk, Iowa; and eight adoring nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
