Wilson H Roberts

Perry – Wilson H. Roberts, 68, entered into rest on Thursday, February 4, 2010.

Mr. Roberts was born on February 27, 1941, in Buford, Georgia. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins. A United States mail carrier in Warner Robins for thirty two years, he enjoyed walking, yard work, and feeding birds. An avid NASCAR fan he enjoyed going to races. His parents, Quinton H. Roberts and Virginia Elizabeth Strickland Roberts, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of forty six years, Betty G. Roberts; sons, Steven (Daphne) Roberts, Perry; and John Q. Roberts, Cochran; granddaughter, Anjelyn Roberts, Perry.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 7, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 8, 2010, at First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins. Dr. Jimmy Asbell and Reverend Missy Blumenthal officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Buford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins.
