Wyatte Hilbun Brooks, Jr.

Wyatte Hilbun Brooks, Jr., 67, died Thursday, January 30, 2003 at his residence. Services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 1 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomaston. The Reverend Tim Millwood will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 7:00 until 9:00pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Brooks was born in Ideal, GA, to the late Wyatte Hilbun Brooks, Sr. and Nettie Lee Brooks. He was retired from civil service at Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany following his retirement from the United States Army. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Carole Kent Brooks, Kathleen; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Frances Brooks, Bonaire; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy Brooks Long and Daryl Long, Bonaire; son, Tracy Brooks, Kathleen; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
