Wynona H. Thompson

Wynona H.Thompson, 79, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2004 at Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2004, at Central Baptist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, December 13 from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials may be given to Central Baptist Church, Joy in the Journey, 1647 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA 31093.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Anadarko, OK. She was a charter member of Central Baptist Church and the 9:45 a.m. Pete Joiner Sunday School Class. She also was a former Central Baptist Choir Member and a member of the Central Five-O. Her husband, Edward Lowell Thompson; father, George Hummingbird; son, Edward Thompson, Jr. and daughter, Barbara Jackson, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her mother, Mae Hummingbird, Dalton, GA; son, Larry Thompson (Susan), Warner Robins, GA; brother, Donald Hummingbird, Dalton, GA; sister, Leota McBryear, Dalton, GA; son-in-law, Arthur Jackson; daughter-in-law, Susan Thompson; grandchildren, Linda Boyd, Warner Robins, Lisa Weldon (Kenny), Milledgeville, Kristal Hayes (Tommy); and great-grandchildren, Blake Boyd, Ryan Boyd, Nathan Weldon, and Nicholas Weldon.
