Yvonne Newton, 69, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 28, 2014.

Yvonne was born on February 29, 1944 in Clarksdale, Mississippi to the late Lewis and Mary Kelly. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Patrick Catholic Church. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Yvonne was a fabulous homemaker. She was passionate about her family and time spent with them. Her sweet smile and tender disposition will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband of forty seven years, James Allen "Jim" Newton, Jr., Warner Robins; daughters, Lisa Marie Ward (Jay), Prior Lake, Minnesota; Jennifer McCauley (Josh), Kathleen; sister, Sherry Bartee, Fort Wayne, Indiana; thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren; four nieces and one nephew.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 2, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, February 3, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Interment will be in Andersonville National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O.
