Zethel Rosebud Jones

Zethel Rosebud Burkhalter Jones, 88, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Peachbelt Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 27, at Faith Assembly of God with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, August 26, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Faith Assembly of God Building Fund, 2288 Moody Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Born in Silver Creek, Georgia on December 25, 1915, Mrs. Jones was a devoted member of Faith Assembly of God. She was a day care worker for 48 years until she retired at age 75. Until her death, in her mind, she was still taking care of little ones. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Albert Woodrow Jones and parents, Thomas and Melissa Burkhalter.

She is survived by three daughters, Janice Register and husband, Lowell Register, Macon; Judy Morris and husband, Rev. Chuck Morris, Warner Robins; Joyce Morgan and husband, James Morgan, Warner Robins; son, Gary Jones and wife Brenda Jones, Hawkinsville; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
