Zuri Adele Layla Walker

Zuri Adele Layla Walker passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 after injuries sustained in a car accident. She was three months old.

Zuri was born on October 22, 2018 in Warner Robins, Georgia. She laughed and smiled throughout her three months; bringing joy and happiness to the lives of everyone she touched.

She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfather, Abraham Blige, Sr.; and her
paternal great-grandparents, Fred Parsons, Roberta Zang, and Glenda Faye Walker.

Zuri’s memory will forever be treasured by her mommy and daddy, Tammy Mae-Adele Parsons of Kathleen and Ja’Von Patrick Walker of Perry; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Penny Parsons of Kathleen; her paternal grandparents, Ronald C. Walker, Jr. of Hinesville and Willie L. Blige of Perry; maternal great-grandparents, Louise J. Blige of Richmond Hill and Jerry and Mae Mullis of Kathleen; paternal great-grandfather, Ronald C. Walker, Sr. of Ludowici, Georgia; honorary godmother, LaShawn Harrell of Hawkinsville; and uncles, Christopher Allen Parsons of Kathleen, Blade Allen Parsons of Hawkinsville, and Brandon Divanta Brunson of Perry.

Visitation will be Friday, February 15, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2019 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Rev. Mary Lou Simon. Following the service, Zuri will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
