A. Raymond Smith, 75, entered into rest on Sunday, September 14, 2014.
Raymond was born on April 17, 1939 in Dublin, Georgia to the late Albert and O'Rita Toole Smith. He retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base and attended St. Paul United Methodist Church in Eatonton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wilbur Smith; and five sisters, Lois Dubois, Shirley Killingsworth, Linda Culver, Gwen Smith and Dorothy Green.
Raymond's memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of thirty-one years, Faye Smith of Eatonton; daughter, Tammie Dennis (Billy) of Warner Robins; sons, Rick Williams (Cindy) of Haynesville and Robby Williams (Kendra) of Fort Valley; brothers, Leonard Smith of Dublin and Arthur Smith of Macon; sisters, Sandra Dee Middlebrooks of Byron, Gayle Davis and Rita Faye Griffin, both of Gray, Patsy Joiner of Rockledge, and Qwen Willis and Brenda Kay Howard, both of Macon; twelve grandchildren, Ricky, Christopher, Matthew, Sean Williams, Brandon Boss, Scott and Richard Mauldin, James Dennis, Jennifer Warren, Michelle Beall, and Jordan and Cole Crews; nine great-grandchildren; and many adoring nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will include; Richard and Scott Mauldin, James Dennis, Brandon Boss, and Sean and Matthew Williams.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 16, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 in Magnolia Park Cemetery with interment immediately following.
