Grayson

Aaron Mizell, Jr., 94, entered into rest on Saturday, May 31, 2025.

Aaron was born on April 15, 1931, in Axson, Georgia to the late Aaron Mizell, Sr. and Cappie White Mizell. Following high school, he proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served as an Egress Technician specializing in the repair and maintenance of ejection seats and canopies on the SR-71 Blackbird—an aircraft he held in high regard throughout his life, as well as various other fighters and bombers.

Aaron was known for his unwavering work ethic. Whether at his job or around the home, he was constantly on the move—cleaning, fixing, and keeping the yard in meticulous shape. His hands were rarely idle, and his dedication to his responsibilities was a defining trait.

Above all, Aaron was deeply devoted to his family. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he found his greatest joy in the company of those he loved. Remembered for his kindness, generosity, and warm spirit, Aaron left a legacy rooted in care, hard work, and the strong bonds of family.

In addition to his parents, Aaron was preceded in death by his wife, Dianelita Mizell and son, Jaffe W. Mizell.

His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Allan N. Mizell (Diana), Daryl T. Mizell (Tiffany), and Jeanelee T. Alley (Todd); grandchildren, Michael Mizell, Maria Mizell, Jeffrey Mizell, May Austin, Liam Mizell, Trinity Strumer, Aaron Alley, Tiana Alley, Tyler Andrulis, Cody Andrulis, and Darwin Almeda; great-grandchildren, Eliana Jean Mizell, Morgan Allan Mizell, Jay Koda Mizell, and Kaito Oliver Mizell; and brother, Harold Mizell, along with many other loving family members and friends.
