Alberta H. "Jack" Roach

Alberta Roach, 80, went to be with the Lord on the evening of Wednesday, November 22, 2017.

Alberta was born on June 16, 1937 in Hallsville, Texas to the late Horace and Lurlie Watkins Houston. There, she attended cosmetology school and married James Lee Roach. Alberta and James later moved to El Paso, Texas in 1958. From this union, James and Patricia were born. Thereafter, Alberta became a faithful member of the Greater Mount Olive Church in El Paso, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Horace Houston, Jr., and her sister, Lurleen Houston Bush.

Alberta leaves to cherish her memory with her loving husband of 59 years, James Lee Roach; children, James Earl Roach (Veronica) and Patricia Ann Lloyd (Bridgeman); grandchildren, Chandra Brown (Aaron) and London Roach; great-grandson, Gabriel Brown; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Following the service, Alberta will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Pastor Josh Kirvin will officiate.
