Alberta Joyner

Alberta Bailey Joyner entered into rest on Thursday, November 10, 2016.

Mrs. Joyner was born in Groton, Connecticut to the late Laura Rose Bailey. While she lived her life as an intensely private person, she loved and adored her family and thrived on spending time with them. Her beloved dog, Rocky, brought great enjoyment into her life. In addition to her mother, her brothers Raymond Bailey and Wyman Bailey preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband, Bertrum L. "Bert" Joyner; her children, Angela Bentley (Kevin) of Atlanta, Kamilah Joyner of Warner Robins, and Nailah Joyner of Atlanta; grandchildren, Jamillah Joyner, Jamaal Joyner, and Jaliyah Lynch; sisters, Cynthia Kyle and Clara Panther (Max); and a host of other loving family members.

A Memorial Gathering to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. All other services will be private.
