Alice Katherine (Kitty Byrd) Johnson

Mrs. Johnson, 61, died Dec. 6, at her home in Sebring, FL. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, December 26 at 4:30 PM in First Methodist Church, Fort Valley. Reverend Dennis E. Stalvey will be officiating.

Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Charlie and Beatrice Byrd of Fort Valley. She was a graduate of Fort Valley High School. She retired to Sebring, Florida after 35 years of banking. She did volunteer work for meals-on-wheels and was a part-time nurse aide. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Front Royal VA. She is survived by her husband Elmer Johnson, Sebring, FL; daughter, Katherine Johnson, son, Richard Johnson, granddaughter, Laura Johnson and daughter-in-law, Chris Johnson all of Wilmington, NC; sister, Christine Byrd Finney of Centerville, GA. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
