Alma Frances Register

Alma Frances Register, 83, passed away at Cherry Blossom Health Care Center in Macon, Georgia, on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Alma was born on January 3, 1940, in Morven, Georgia. She was the cherished daughter of the late James Lucious and Verna Mae Register.

Alma's education led her to graduate from Warner Robins High School. One of her favorite pastimes was playing board games with her nieces and nephews, creating cherished memories of laughter and joy. In today’s digital world, Alma enjoyed spending time on her iPad, using it as a window to the world. Her presence on Facebook allowed her to follow the lives of her loved ones. Alma also had a passion for playing computer games.

In addition to her parents, Alma was preceded in death by her siblings, Julius Talmidge Register, Eloise Marie Willis, Lenwood Mearl Register, James Neron Register, Vernon Lamar Register, and Earl Dean Register; and loving companion, Gene Akins.

She is survived by her brother, Lowell Register (Janice) of Lizella; Goddaughter, Stephanie Hendricks; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.  A funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m.  Afterward, Alma Francis Register will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
