Alton David Apperson, Jr.

Alton David Apperson, Jr., 61, joined his heavenly father on October 20, 2013.

David was born in Perry, Georgia on August 1, 1952. He attended Warner Robins High School before joining the United States Army in 1970 and became disabled while on duty in Berlin, Germany.

David was a lifelong resident of Warner Robins except for the times he was a patient in the V.A. facilities. He was a member of Second Baptist Church and was known for his generosity and his love of his family. David enjoyed tinkering with his computer and electronic games and was very knowledgeable of the Bible and he loved Jesus.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside prayer and interment will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Providence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Doles, Georgia in Worth County.
