Mrs. Ann M. Young passed away on Monday, September 1, 2003 at home. A Rosary service will be held at the McCullough Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 4, at 7:00 pm with visitation following until 9:00 pm. A Memorial Mass will be held in Long Island, NY, at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Missionaries of Charity, Gift of Peace, 2800 Otis St. NE, Washington, DC, 20018.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Young had been a homemaker. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, the Ancient Order of Hibernians – Division 8, and a Life member of the VFW, Post 4927, in New York. Her parents, George and Ann Steves, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, James J. Young, Jr., Bonaire; daughter, Colleen Thornton, NY; sons, Michael Randall, Florida; Ronald Randall, Warner Robins; brothers, William Steves, NY; James Steves, Texas; and three grandchildren, Michael, Shannon, and Joseph.
