Ann Therese Kutay, 90, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord on Monday, January 26, 2015.
Ann was born on October 24, 1924 in Lansford, Pennsylvania. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the CCW, and Ladies Guild at Sacred Heart. Ann worked as a secretary in the Pentagon, before becoming a devoted homemaker for her husband and children. In her spare time she was chairwoman of Ladies Guild in support of the American Cancer Society and she along with her husband founded the folk choir at Sacred Heart. Ann was a fun loving lady whom loved working closely with her husband at Sacred Heart, shopping, celebrating holidays, and family. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. Ann was a loving and devoted mother of eight children.
Her husband of sixty-seven years, Stephen Kutay; son, Ronald Stephen Kutay; and parents, John and Mary Cuzý Bubak, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Judy Wozniak (Roger) of Warner Robins, Larry Kutay (Glenda) of Centerville, Deborah Wheeler Kutay of Gainsville, Janet Leverett (Steve) of Macon, Andrea Nygaard (Thor) of Danville, Tommy Kutay (Susan) of Warner Robins, Mark Kutay (Stephanie) of Centerville, and Stephanie Hall (John) of Centerville; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; loving caregivers, Angela, Laverene, Shundrell, Alicia, Jo; and she leaves behind many friends at PineGate Retirement Community.
A Rosary will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
