Julia "Annette" Bordelon Floyd, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 28, 2009.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at Sandy Valley Baptist Church, Reverend Phil Bryant officiating. Visitation will be prior to service at Sandy Valley Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
Ms. Floyd was born on September 7, 1923, in Marksville, Louisiana. She was a retired civil servant from Robins Air Force Base, where she worked at the hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse. After retirement, she worked for Heart of Georgia Hospice for twelve years. Her church home was Sandy Valley Baptist, where she was a member of Daisy McLain's Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda "Nell" Hall; husband, Nelson T. Floyd; and parents, Lionel Bordelon and Pauline Gouz Bordelon.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Raymond T. Floyd (Eileen), Warner Robins, David Floyd (Karen), Centerville, and Debbie Dix, Macon; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
