April Virginia Hamilton, a beacon of kindness and love, passed away after a brave battle with colon cancer. Born on August 28, 1981, in Longview, Texas, to Anita Joanne Rhodes and Raymond Ellis Cail, April embodied warmth and grace from the very start.
Known as the sweetest and most gentle soul, April’s heart was devoted to her family. She was a proud “mama’s girl,” cherishing time with her mother Anita Rountree and sisters Tammy Cail (Eddie), Jennifer Culpepper (Charlie). Her spirit was deeply woven into the lives of her four beloved sons—Devon Cail, Jackson Solomon, Danqarius Hamilton, and Jayden Hamilton—whom she raised with boundless love and strength. April’s love for her husband, George “Emery” Hamilton, was a testament to the deep partnership and devotion they shared, along with one cherished granddaughter, Ivy.
April’s joy was found in the simple pleasures—whether it was laughing with family or spending peaceful days at the beach, her smile never faded, even through the toughest times. She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Cail, and is survived by a loving family that includes nieces, nephews, and extended family who will forever cherish her memory.
Her life was a beautiful example of resilience, kindness, and unwavering love. April will be deeply missed but always remembered for the light she brought to everyone around her.
