Aquia "Nanna" Barron

Aquia "Nanna" Barron, 12, went to be with the angels on Friday, January 4, 2013.

Nanna was born on June 1, 2000 in Macon, Georgia. She attended Burdell-Hunt Elementary School and New Pleasant Grove Baptist Church until her health declined. Nanna had a beautiful smile that could light up any room, and she loved music and interacting with people. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jimmy Barron; and uncle, Jacobi Barron.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving mother and stepfather, Jalisha Barron-Cross and Dexter Cross; siblings, Arlisia, Aubrien, Ahmad, Aniya and Amiya; grandparents, Victor and Judy Hunt; great-grandmother, Minnie Cross, all of Macon; and a host of aunts, uncles and beloved family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
