Aquilla Hemphill

Aquilla Hemphill, 76, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2005 Peach Regional Hospital. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 21, 2005 at Byron Baptist Church with interment following in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, February 20, 2005 from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Byron Baptist Church 100 White Rd Byron, Georgia 31008.

Mrs. Hemphill was born in Echols County. She was a member of Byron Baptist Church and Living By Faith Sunday school class. Her parents, Levin and Julie Touchton, son, Michael Dwight McDaniel preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Charles D. Hemphill, Fort Valley; daughters, Jeannie M. Barfield, Fort Valley; Terry M. Folsom, Crawfordville, Florida; sons, Ralph McDaniel, Pavo, Georgia; Rev. Gerald McDaniel, Leesburg, Georgia; sisters, Cindy Lawrence, Lula Cooper, Beulah Green; brothers, W.J Touchton, Otis Touchton; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
