Arlene Cynthia Roberge, 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2025.

Arlene Cynthia Roberge was born on March 15, 1957, in Colton, California. Raised in an Air Force family, Arlene spent her childhood traveling across the country, though she primarily grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She graduated from Mitchell High School in 1975. During her high school years, Arlene was actively involved in Girl Scouts, earning the First-Class Girl Scout achievement. She also developed her lifelong love of music; playing piano, guitar and singing in church at Peterson Air Force Base Chapel.

In 1974, Arlene went on a blind date with Jim Roberge, who in June 1977, become her beloved husband and partner in life. Arlene pursued higher education at Texas Tech University before continuing her studies at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she earned her degree in Medical Technology. Her professional career reflected both her intelligence and dedication to service. While living in Eliot, Maine, she worked as a Medical Technologist at the local hospital. Later, after moving to Warner Robins, Georgia, she worked as a Medical Technologist and IT Specialist at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, where she retired in 2020 after many years of faithful service.

Arlene lived a full and vibrant life. She enjoyed going to the movies, playing Mahjongg, piano, singing, and she had a deep love for music. She was active in the Cursillo and Antioch movements, enjoyed crafting and sewing, and lovingly made clothing for herself and her children. Arlene had a fascination with astronomy and a passion for travel, camping, and adventure—proudly visiting all seven continents.

A devoted servant of the Church, Arlene served as Music Director at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and co-director of the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults, a role she faithfully fulfilled for many years at multiple parishes. Her voice was often described as “the voice of an angel,” and her music lifted countless hearts in worship.

Arlene loved the lake, cherished her family, and delighted in being Mimi to her grandchildren. She was known for her Mimi-ism as well as her presence—always fully in the moment—as well as her kindness, thoughtfulness, patience, and forgiveness. A woman of deep faith, she was devoted to prayer for her family and for others, offering love and grace to all who knew her. Arlene will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexis and Theresa Donatto, and her brother, Patrick Donatto.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring husband, Deacon James David Roberge, Jr.; children, Stephanie Delcourt (Christopher) of Kathleen, James Roberge, III (Megan) of Lilburn and Julie Charbonneau (Joel) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Brady, Kason, and Graham Delcourt, Sonya and Zoey Roberge, and Isaac, Luke, Leah, and Jonah Charbonneau, and brother, David Donatto (Penni).
