Barbara E. Williams, 81, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2006. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, July 1, 2006 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to, Gideons International, P.O. Mrs. Williams was born on June 1, 1925 in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. She was a member of LifePoint Church. She was a member of the Navy Wives Club, Gideons International, and was very active in various children’s ministries. Her parents, Ziba and Marian Young; brother, Rev. Edwin O. Young, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Dwight L. Williams, Warner Robins; daughter, Lynda Lasseter (Jim), Centerville; sons, Colonel Ronald B. Williams (Darlene), Georgetown, Kentucky; Robert W. Williams (Patricia), Dunwoody; Richard T. Williams, Atlanta; grandsons, Joe Tessin (Carey); Captain Ben Williams; Daniel Williams (Heather); Jeremy Lasseter (April); granddaughters, Jennifer Alford (Chris); Shannon Snyder (Braxton); Audrey Witcher; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Rachel, Logan, Madison, William; sisters, Shirley McVey (Norman), Indiana; Anita Young, Indiana; sister-in-law, Daphne Young, Alabama.
