Barbara Franks

Barbara Franks, 72, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2006. Visitations will be on Monday, July 17, 2006, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home, Warner Robins, GA and Tuesday, July 18, 2006, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bordwine Funeral Home, Etowah, Tennessee, with services to follow at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, Delano Cemetery, Tennessee.

Mrs. Franks was born on July 13, 1934 in Englewood, TN. She was a homemaker, a member of Southside Baptist Church and a resident of Kingsford Assisted Living. Her husband, Rev. Joseph Herbert Franks preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Joe) Tooker, Warner Robins, GA; sons, Terry (Stephanie) Franks, Warner Robins, GA; Gary (Diane) Franks, Tucson, AZ; Larry (Jessica) Franks, Decatur, AL; sister, Patsy Manning, Henegar, AL; brothers, Kenneth Newman, Floyd Newman, Wendell Newman, J.L. Newman, all of Delano, TN; nine grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
