Bea H. Swanay

Bea H. Swanay, 84, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, in her home. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 3 at 2:00 p.m. in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Born in Mountain City, Tennessee, Mrs. Swanay was a graduate of Mountain City High School. She was a loving wife and mother and a member of Doe Valley Methodist Church. Her husband, George W. Swanay, and parents, William R. and Evie S. Hicks, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her three sons, Johnny W. Laws (Shelia) and Vance Laws, both of Warner Robins; and Pete Swanay, Johnson City, TN; sister, Alice Stout, and brother, Lester Hicks, both of Mountain City, TN; and grandchildren, Lori L. Rourke and Vance W. Laws, both of Warner Robins; and Crystal Laws, Macon; and great granddaughter, Kayelynn Marie Rourke, Warner Robins.
