Benedicta Laguitao Edge

Benedicta Laguitao Edge, 87, entered into rest on Friday, December 15, 2023.

Benedicta was born on September 10, 1936, in The Philippines to the late Bonifacio and Maria Laguitao. She was a faithful Catholic who attended Sacred Heart Catholic church and a loving mother of four. She was a long-time volunteer for AARP, which she enjoyed. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and she could never turn down a good deal on shoes. Benedicta will be deeply missed by those who loved her.

In addition to her parents, Benedicta was preceded in death by her loving husband, Captain Jimmy R. Edge, US Navy (Ret.) and her son, Cezar Edge.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Mariah Dina Clarito of Ireland, Dexter Dio of The Philippines, and Fe Kenndy Dio of New York, along with seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
