Benjamin A. Abeyta, Jr, 75 years old, passed away peacefully November 7, 2025, in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Ben was born on September 8, 1950, to Benjamin B. Abeyta and Nellie Quintana. He grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School in 1968.

Growing up, he loved his brothers and sisters and enjoyed teasing friends and family alike. After high school, Ben joined the United States Air Force, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a proud veteran. Ben spent the later part of his life in Perry, Georgia where he retired and spent time working in his yard. He is remembered fondly as a fun, happy sibling and friend.

Ben is survived by his twin daughters, Des Abeyta and April Abeyta; sisters, JoAnn Kennedy (John) and Linda Smith; brother, Jerry Abeyta (Kathy), brothers-in-law Charlie Silva and Art Brady; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Abeyta; parents, Ben and Nellie Abeyta; grandparents, Jose and Fedelina Quintana; sisters, Carmen Powell, Theresa Silva and Adele Brady; niece, Dana Zampedri, and brother, Joe Abeyta.

We are at peace knowing he is not in any more pain and know he will always be with us in spirit. At the family’s request services will be private.
