Benny Haralson, Jr., 71, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on the morning of Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Benny was born on April 30, 1955, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Benjamin Hopkins Haralson, Sr. and Florie Mullis Haralson. He retired as a supervisor with The Coca-Cola Company. Benny cherished his family, especially his beloved wife of 50 years, Debbie, as well as his daughters and grandchildren. His grandchildren were truly the loves of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

In his free time, Benny enjoyed fishing, woodworking, spending time outdoors, tinkering with just about anything, and restoring furniture. He had a gift for fixing things and could seemingly repair anything. Most of all, Benny was known for his kind and generous heart and his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Benny’s memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife, Debbie Haralson of Bonaire; his children, Tammy Urbina (Melqui) of Kathleen and Tracy Haralson of Warner Robins; his grandchildren, Ben Haralson, Isabela Urbina, and Carmen Urbina; his sister, Carol Eckstein (Fred) of Kathleen; his brother-in law, Mike Parker; his sisters-in-law, Janet Rogers (Jimmy), Terrie Funk (Ken), and Belinda Newman (Ronnie); and many nieces and nephews.

His love, kindness, and generous spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Magnolia Park Cemetery, with Dr. Paul Cowles officiating. Benny will be laid to rest at Magnolia Park Cemetery following the service.
