Benjamin Thomas Chambers

Benjamin Thomas Chambers, 86, entered into rest on Monday, October 17, 2011.

Mr. Chambers was born on November 12, 1924 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. He owned and operated his own Asphalt Company for fifty eight years. His wife of sixty three beautiful years, Harriett Pinfold Chambers, and parents, Willie Buck Chambers, and Clara Louise Dendy Chambers, all preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughters, Harriett Louise Harrison, Fort Valley; Esther Marie Stephens (Dwayne), Johnnie Lisa Langston (Kenneth), all of Warner Robins; eight grandchildren, Jason Griggs, Willie Griggs, Shane Griggs, Thomas Stephens, Stephanie Atkins, Heather Langston, Hollie Langston, and Kenneth John Langston; fourteen great-grandchildren, six brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 20, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
