Bernadette Van Dusen Connelly

Helena Bernadette Van Dusen Connelly, 95, passed away peacefully in Jacksonville, Florida on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.

Mrs. Connelly was born on August 23, 1922 in New York, New York, the only child of the late Joseph and Frances Kelleher Van Dusen. She married Robert E. Connelly on July 20, 1944 at Lake Charles AAB, Louisana.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring husband of 73 years, Robert E. Connelly; their daughter, Frances Cecil; their sons, Michael Connelly (Linda), Terrence Connelly (Meg), Patrick Connelly (Patti), Thomas Connelly, John Connelly (Anita), and Matthew Connelly (Meg); thirteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The memorial mass celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warner Robins, Georgia with Monsignor Fred Nijem officiating. Mrs. Connelly will be laid to rest in Andersonville National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m..
