Bernice Young Knopf

Bernice Y. Knopf, 86, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at home in Eatonton, Georgia. Visitation will be Friday, April 8, 2005 from 1 until 2 PM at McCullough Funeral Home with services following at 2:00 PM in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Byron Baptist Church Cemetery in Byron, Georgia.

Mrs. Knopf was born in Macon, Georgia. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. She conducted a prayer service for the occupants of Heritage Personal Care Home on Sunday afternoons. Mrs. Knopf retired from Olan Mills Studio and the Internal Revenue Service in Atlanta, Georgia. Her parents, Fleming and Matilda Young, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Faith K. Bazemore (John), Eatonton; son, Richard D. Knopf (Bernadette), Suwanee; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
