Betty Ann Rogers Jenkins

Betty Ann Rogers Jenkins, entered into rest on Thursday, February 26, 2015.

Betty was born in Cedar Grove, Georgia to the late Lawson DeWitt Rogers and Stella Powell Rogers Ussery. She was a lovely homemaker who devoted her life to the raising of her family. Betty had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. She also dedicated much of her free time to the Military Surviving Spouses where she was a past President. Friendship Baptist was her church home and where she was a member of the Esther Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 33 years, Walter DeWitt Dixon; her second husband of 2 and a half years, Velton Quay Jenkins; son, Stephen Lynn Crabb; and her parents.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring sons, Jerry Wayne Crabb, Sr. (Jerilynn) of Loganville and Walter "Bubba" Dixon (Lesa) of Roberta; daughter-in-law, Susan Bray Crabb of Lawrenceville; grandsons, Jerry Wayne Crabb, Jr. of Lawrenceville and Bobby Dixon of Macon; brother, Lynwood P. Rogers of Macon; niece, Adriane Youmans of Thomasville; several cousins; and best friend, Mildred Childers of Warner Robins.

Visitation will be Friday, February 27, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Friendship Baptist Church with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Betty Ann Jenkins to Friendship Baptist Church, 1322 Feagin Mill Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
