Betty Collins, 78, entered into rest Saturday, February 7, 2009.
Mrs. Collins was born on June 17, 1930 in Griffin, Georgia. Her parents, Frank and Effie Greer; brother, Herman Greer; and sisters, Ruth Purifoy and Katherine Greer, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her sons, Herman D. Nixon, Russell Nixon and Carrington Ethridge; and close friend, Charles Collins.
Visitation will be Monday, February 9, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Oak Hill Cemetery, Griffin, Georgia.
