Betty Zinicola, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 27, 2018.
Betty was born on March 03, 1926 in New Buffalo, Pennsylvania to the late Charles A. Johnson and Margaret Eason Johnson. In Betty’s younger years she was a library assistant until becoming a loving homemaker. She was a devoted member of Faith Lutheran Church where she actively attended until her illness kept her home. Betty also used to volunteer for Houston Healthcare Auxiliary. Her favorite pastimes included bird watching, cheering on the Atlanta Braves and playing cards.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Girard Zinicola; and her son, Jeffery A. Zinicola.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter and son in law, Lisa and Donald Lee of Byron.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 5, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2018 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterwards, Mrs. Zinicola will be laid to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Mrs. Betty Zinicola to the Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
