Betty L. Reddick

February 19, 1932 — April 29, 2015

Betty L. Shropshire Reddick passed away on April 29, 2015. She was born in Reidsville, North Carolina, to the late Poet Leslie and Bessie Burnett Shropshire. She was retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base after 24 years of loyal service. At the time of her retirement she was a Supervisor over the Central Packing Division. She was a dedicated mother of three beloved children, raising them with love while working full-time to provide for her family. She was also known for her love of McDonald's and enjoyed spending time with friends at the Golden Arches. Mrs. Reddick was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Glenda Reddick Ray and Pamela Gail Kennedy; a grandchild, Ashley Green Kennedy; as well as five brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Reddick is survived by her daughter, Cheryl R. Hart (Randy), Bonaire; grandson, Matthew R. Hart, Anchorage, Alaska; niece, Sue Crouse, and nephews, Richard Shropshire (Sybil) and Jimmy Shropshire (Kevie), all of Reidsville, North Carolina.
A memorial gathering with the family will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at McCullough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street - Suite A, Macon, Georgia, 31201.
