Betty Lou Mossman

On the morning of Friday, December 6, 2024, Mrs. Betty Lou Pinkerton Mossman went to be with her Lord and Savior in heaven. She was 93. 

Mrs. Mossman was born in Clarksville, Texas to the late Thomas Abraham and Una Etta Pinkerton. She spent most of her working career in the service and retail industries. She also was a licensed cosmetologist and ran a business out of her home for many years. She really enjoyed the fellowship of friends and clients while cutting hair. Her true passion was extensively traveling throughout the United States with her late husband, Joe. Mrs. Mossman was dedicated to her faith, family, friends, and her puppy, Lucky. She also enjoyed sewing, tending to her many flowers and bird watching. 

She was a longtime faithful member of Bonaire United Methodist church. In addition to all the enjoyments in her life, spending time with her grandchildren and husband was where she was the happiest. 

She was proceeded in death by her parents, loving husband, Eloi Joe as well as her sons Ronald Mossman, Guy Mossman, Joe Mossman Jr. and Michael Moore; her brothers Sonny, James, and sister Pearl. 

Mrs. Mossman’s memory will forever be treasured by her children Melinda Mathe (Westley), Tony Mossman (Debbie), Thomas Mossman, Perry Mossman, Terry Nolan, Mark Mossman (Angie), and Pat Jones; along with 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and a number of adoring nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jason Dickerson officiating. Afterward, Mrs. Mossman will be laid to rest by her late husband, Eloi Joe, at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins.
