Bettye Jane Reed

Bettye Jane Reed, 70, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2006. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, February 27, 2006 from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Houston County, P.O. Box 1544, 1403 Watson Boulevard, Warner Robins, Georgia 31099.

Mrs. Reed was born on January 20, 1936 in Dallas, Texas. She was retired from both Wal-Mart and the Sandbar Corporation. She was an avid crafts maker, NASCAR fan, rodeo fan and country music fan. Her parents, John and Alice Brand, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Raymond Wayne Tallant, Kathleen; Larry Dean Tallant, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Rusty Wayne Tallant, Dallas, Texas; Justin Dean Tallant, Warner Robins; sister, Dorothy Sweatmon, Macon; and several nieces and nephews.
