Beverly Jane Culpepper, 65, entered into rest on Friday, October 11, 2013.
Beverly was born on May 12, 1948 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a professional photographer and owned her own business called Photography by Beverly. In 1995, her son Jason was in a horrible car accident leaving him disabled. Beverly devoted the last eighteen years of her life taking care of him. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Her adoring husband of thirty-seven years, Olin "Pepper" Culpepper; son, Rodney Allen Payne, Jr.; and father, Richard West, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Greg Payne (Rhoda), Ocean Springs, Mississippi; Chad Payne (Pat), Kathleen, Georgia; Tasha Cole (Mike), Pensacola, Florida; Jason Payne, Bonaire, Georgia; and James "Joey" Culpepper, Pensacola, Florida; grandchildren, Jessica, Trey, Colton, Trent, Russell and Grayson Payne, and Ricky C. Culpepper; great-grandson, Coleman Payne; siblings, Darrell W. Barker, Lawanda N. Ramage, Rhondale L. ''Ronny'' Barker, Melonee L. Moritz, Teresa G. Olson, Gary T. West, Lentz O. West, and Natasha C. Perkins; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Masonic Tyrian Lodge 111 on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2013 at Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast in Biloxi, Mississippi. Burial will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery. The family will accept flowers, or donations may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
