Billy Charles Horne

Billy Charles Horne, 80, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016.

Mr. Horne was born on April 12, 1935 in Macon, Georgia, the son of the late Mattie A. Horne and Joseph G. Horne, Sr. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Shirley H. Horne, on May 25, 2014. Mr. Horne retired from Southern Bell in 1983. He was a loving husband, daddy, grandfather and great-grandfather. On June 27th of 2014, Billy and his late wife, Shirley, would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

He is survived by his daughter, April Rozier of Macon; sons, Eric Horne (Colleen) of Atlanta and Blake Horne (Sharon) of Macon; grandchildren, Sara Glenn, Austin Horne, Brett and Alex Rozier, Tucker and John Horne, Brenna McClure, and Lainey Bradberry; great-grandchildren, Emery and Camden Glenn, Jonathan, Evelyn, Abigail, and Loralai Rozier, Elaina Horne, Ethan Bradberry, and Sadie Swigart; sister, Jackie Huff (Lamar) of Macon; sister-in-law, Opal Horne of Macon; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be given in memory of Billy to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
