Bobbie T. Keener, 87, of Bonaire, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the age of 87.
A native of Highlands, North Carolina, Bobbie was the son of the late Carl and Helen Keener of Highlands. A long-standing member of Goldmine Baptist Church in Highland, he continued his faith at Central Baptist Church in Warner Robins, where he was a devoted member of the Joyner Sunday School Class.
Bobbie proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring with honor before continuing his career in the auto service industry.
In his later years, Bobbie found community and camaraderie as an active member of the Houston Hardware Coffee Drinkers in Bonaire. There, over countless cups of coffee, stories were shared, debated, and then tucked away.
In addition to his parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Iris Delia Keener; grandson, Kent Keener; brother, Jeter Keener; and sister, Vergie Keener.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Jim Bogle, Joe Bogle, JoAnn Thigpen (Richard), and Steve Keener (Shelia); eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Magnolia Park Cemetery, where Bobbie T. Keener will be laid to rest.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Bobbie T. Keener to First Love Ministries, 623 Pine Ridge St., Perry, Georgia 31069.
