On the afternoon of Thursday, November 6, 2025, Bonnie Lynn Braxton peacefully passed away at the age of 74. She is now reunited in eternal rest with her beloved husband, Clarence E. Braxton, and her cherished parents, Scott and Joyce Jo Brocker.
Bonnie was born on October 13, 1951, in Weimar, Texas, and lived her life rooted in her Baptist faith. She devoted many years to working in various food service industries. Above all, Bonnie took great pride and joy in her role as a homemaker, creating a warm and loving home for those she held dear.
In her quieter moments, Bonnie found happiness in cooking, baking, painting, knitting, expressing her creativity through each thoughtful piece she made. She especially delighted in spoiling her dogs, who were a constant source of comfort and companionship. Bonnie’s gentle heart, nurturing nature, and simple joys left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Her memory will be forever treasured by her loving son, Stephen V. Braxton (Brandy); her grandchildren, Cameron and Darreion Braxton; her great-grandchildren, Iris and Kanala Braxton; and her close family friends, the Tresslers, who held a special place in her life.
A memorial service celebrating Bonnie’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at McCullough Funeral Home, where family and friends will gather to honor her legacy and the love she shared so freely.
