Calvin Russell Libby, Jr.

Calvin Russell Libby, Jr., 73, entered into rest on Sunday, October 26, 2008.

Mr. Libby was born on October 14, 1935, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from University of Kentucky and received his Masters Degree at University of Georgia. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Marines. A devoted father, he was a retired electrical engineer from Robins Air Force Base in civil service. His wife, Carol Merkle Libby; parents, Calvin Russell Libby and Elizabeth Cooke Libby, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughters, Lisa Brewer (Neil) and Stephanie Silverstein (David), three grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 28, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Warner Robins Animal Shelter, 206 Bay Street, Warner Robins GA 31088 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105.
