Carmela LaPorta, 83, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2006 at Elberta Healthcare. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 5, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2006 from 1 until 2 PM at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mrs. Laporta was born in St. Lawrence Beneveto, Italy on April 17, 1922. Her husband, Lawrence Laporta, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Larry Laporta (Kim), Warner Robins; and daughter, Jeannie Laporta, Warner Robins; Joseph LaPorta, Connecticut; grandchildren, Jason LaPorta and Rachael LaPorta, Warner Robins.
