Carolyn Edge Thorne

Carolyn Edge Thorne, 66, passed away at her residence on December 1, 2007.

Mrs. Thorne was born on June 18, 1941 in Toombs County, Georgia. She was a homemaker. Her parents, Stephen Edge and Pinkey Edge, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick A. Thorne, Byron; daughters, Selina Sumner (Clyde), Lenoir, North Carolina and Lynda McDowell (Randy), Lawrenceville, Georgia; son, Steve Shell, Dublin, Georgia; step-daughter, Kim Mulrooney (Joe), Oxnard, California; sisters, Erlene Norman (Bill), Mobile, Alabama, Allene Bellendier, Macon, and Mildred Reeves (Homer), Bonaire, Georgia; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, December 3, 2007, from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in the Magnolia Park Cemetery.
