Carolyn Jeanette Fordham

Carolyn Jeanette Fordham, 83, gained her angel wings on Monday, September 14, 2015.

Carolyn was born on June 1, 1932 in Macon, Georgia to the late Sullivan and Hazel Stallings Hightower. She attended Shirley Hills Baptist Church for many years. Carolyn was a devoted homemaker; always caring for her husband and children. She was a kind outgoing lady who loved her family and friends beyond anything else.

Along with her parents, her husband, Willie B. Fordham, Jr.; and siblings, Durwood Hightower, Francis Cauley, Jewel Causey, G.W. Hightower, Walter Hightower, and Hilda Purvis, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Diane Hayes (James) of Roberta, Ronald Peavy (Donna) of Warner Robins, Terry Peavy (Billie) of Warner Robins, Charesa Gandy of Roberta; 5 step children; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and siblings, James Hightower (Carolyn), Deloris Nipper (Billy), and Ronnie Hightower, all of Macon.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Mrs. Fordham will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
