Carolyn W. Curry

Carolyn W. Curry, 88, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2005, at Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 5, 2005, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, August 4, 2005, from 6 until 8 PM at McCullough Funeral Home. Donations may be given to Joy in the Journey, 1120 Lake Joy Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088 or International Pray Ministries, 615 Knollwood Circle, Conyers, Georgia 30094.

Mrs. Curry was born in Wheeler County. She was a charter member of Central Baptist Church and a member of NARF. She retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. She was twice widowed. She was married to Glenn L. Sheppard, Sr. for 21 years and to John P. Curry for 26 years. Her parents were Chester C. and Rosa White of Glenwood, Georgia.

Survivors include her son, Reverend Glenn L. Sheppard (Jackie), Missouri; step-daughter, Madie McArthur, Naples, Florida; sisters, Marion Bramlett (Clyde), Kennesaw, Georgia; Dean Gilbert, Roswell, Georgia; grandchildren, Glenn L. Sheppard, III (Tori), England; Krista Sheppard Harris (Mark), Canada; Michael T. Sheppard (Bronwyn), England; great-grandchildren, Aidan and Elena Sheppard, England; Ariana and Hudson Harris, Canada.
