Carolyn Janice Wiginton

Carolyn Janice Wiginton, 83, of Warner Robins, Georgia, formerly of Eastman, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on February 5, 2026, and is now reunited with her Lord and Savior.

Born in Cordova, Alabama, to the late Lowell and Roberta Wiginton, Janice graduated from Cordova High School, where she was a member of the marching band. She later attended the University of Alabama. Janice worked at Stuckey’s before later retiring from ALCOA, where she was a customer and sales service representative. She was a part of Cordova Baptist Church and then First Baptist Church of Eastman, where she lovingly served as a GA’s teacher.

A devoted daughter, Janice, lovingly cared for her parents throughout their lives. She dedicated her life to raising her son, Rob, who was her greatest joy. An amazing cook, she loved gospel music, family beach trips, shopping and crafting, and was a loyal supporter of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Janice was known for her kindness, her warm heart, and her deep love for her family and friends.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved son, Robert Wiginton of Warner Robins.

Visitation with Janice’s family will be Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. CST at Cordova First Baptist Church in Cordova, Alabama with the funeral service celebrating her life immediately following. Janice will be laid to rest in a private graveside service at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
