Cecil Lastinger

Cecil Lastinger, 78, entered into rest on Saturday, May 3, 2014, 2014.

Mr. Lastinger was born on November 7, 1935 in Pelham, Georgia. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Navy, having served on the USS Intrepid. He was a member of the Masons from Palestine, Texas. His parents, Leland and Sally Mae Lastinger and siblings, William Lastinger, Donald Lastinger and Eunice Harrell, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Sharon Lastinger; children, Lawrence Lastinger (Diana); Victoria, Texas; Victoria Connell (Scott); Woodway, Texas; George Lastinger (Lori); West Virginia and Rose Marie Palma, Jacksonville, Florida; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two sisters, Irene Ciccarelli and Mable Buncker.

A Memorial gathering with military honors will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
